Helixon donned his military uniform as a Lieutenant Colonel in the 8th Legal Operations Detachment, Independence, Missouri, and assisted the Fort Leonard Wood Deputy Staff Judge Advocate prepare his trial counsel for two upcoming trials. This collaborative effort demonstrates the importance of the citizen-soldiers to the U.S. Army reserve component, and the cooperation between the U.S. Army reserve and active duty components.
